Where's our attitude of gratitude?
This recent exchange with a gentleman at the History Channel Forum is just in time for Thanksgiving Day. God help us to remember our Hebrew roots and biblical responsibilities and always have an attitude of gratitude for His tender mercies!
The twelve tribes themselves are not European in origin
The Twelve Tribes of Israel - the Anglo-Saxon-Celtics and white peoples of Northwestern Europe -- are Israelite in origin. We're the so-called "Lost Ten Tribes." We were taken captive by the Assyrians and later, as prophesied, migrated north and west into Europe and King David's dynasty continues in the Sceptered Isle.
Of the 12,000 from each tribe to be taken on judgement day, how many do you think will be of mixed blood?
If they're so mixed the Holy Spirit wouldn't have inspired John to write specifically of the unique tribes of Israel. They're obviously not "mixed" enough to disqualify them from being considered, in God's eyes, this or that specific tribe of Israel. Undoubtedly we have married among ourselves to some extent, yet still this or that tribe dominates in our ancestry, having sifted through various countries (we can say we're English, Irish, Dutch), but we're still ISRAELITES.
When Revelations was written the author probably had no idea that the Jews would have dispersed across the globe as they have or intermarried as they have with other peoples
John was a prophet and the Holy Spirit undoubtedly inspired him to know the other prophecies in the Law and the Prophets that clearly foretold the reach and expansion of all Twelve Tribes to the far ends of the Earth - not just the Jews! The Jews are only a small part of the big family of Jacob-Israel.
It's written in Amos that we (the Northern 10-tribed Kingdom of Israel) would migrate, sift through the nations, and yet not lose our identity (as far as our ethnic make-up is concerned, our basic DNA).
assuming that you are a Gentile
God's mercy extends to all peoples, although His plan calls for the Jews (and Israelites) first and then the Gentiles. God has called our peoples, the Jews and the Joes, Israelites, to ultimately become His Servant Nation to bless all nations.
I am a Joe (descended from Joseph/Anglo-Saxon-Celtic heritage), as well as a Jew, scion of King David, as our family goes back to the British and Scottish Royal Families. Apparently I'm also a descendant of two Mayflower Pilgrims, John and Priscilla Alden, and collateral descendant of three American presidents.
[The Scripture] doesn't apply to America because we were given nothing. We TOOK everything we have from the natives
The United States was given primarily to the descendants of Joseph and the other Northern tribes of Israel, with some Jews living among us (even though God has given them a Jewish Homeland).
Just like ancient Israel had to be willing to fight to secure their inheritance, so did we. Sometimes we were more honorable than others, just like Jacob with Esau, but regardless Manifest Destiny was to be and was fulfilled in us. We didn't take from the natives as it wasn't theirs to begin with -- it belongs to our Great Creator God and to whomsoever He gives it, as is His divine prerogative.
The various natives took from each other and had a violent history towards different tribes and were carried away with their raw paganism. Some were more advanced than others.
Deuteronomy 6:10-12
10 “So it shall be, when the LORD your God brings you into the land of which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build, 11 houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, hewn-out wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant—when you have eaten and are full— 12 then beware, lest you forget the LORD...
we built the cities, invented our gadgets and things, built a gargantuan economy, paved the roads, assembled a massive military, etc. all by ourselves. God had nothing to do with these things
God works in and through and for people at the same time. He warned us not to develop such an unhealthy and pompous attitude of vainly imagining we did all these things without His help and inspiration, even giving us the health to accomplish great things. God has blessed our efforts. It's true that God helps those who help themselves. The "Protestant work ethic" is a biblical work ethic.
Deuteronomy 8:9-20
9 a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper. 10 When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the LORD your God for the good land which He has given you. 11 "Beware that you do not forget the LORD your God by not keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His statutes which I command you today, 12 lest—when you have eaten and are full, and have built beautiful houses and dwell in them; 13 and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold are multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied; 14 when your heart is lifted up, and you forget the LORD your God...17 then you say in your heart, 'My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth.'
18 "And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. 19 Then it shall be, if you by any means forget the LORD your God, and follow other gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish. 20 As the nations which the LORD destroys before you, so you shall perish, because you would not be obedient to the voice of the LORD your God.
As Abraham Lincoln warned, he said we had forgotten our Great God and encouraged all to repent and pray that God might save our nation. We were spared that God might fulfill His many prophecies, His wonderful promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob about the peace and prosperity of their descendants because of ABRAHAM'S OBEDIENCE.
God has given us these many things and wonderful years and we have forgotten him as self-made men and women who vainly imagine we don't need God and this is all our doing, the work of our hands, so God - who controls the weather - will strip these things out of our hands and show us how we're at His mercy to humble us and bring us back to Him and remind us to keep His commandments, His holy Sabbath and biblical festivals, the "Jewish holidays," and reject the replacement theology and pagan holidays of bloody Rome!
If we have god to thank for the invention of the airplane then we have him to thank for 9/11.
That's just plain ridiculous. What we do with a gift is our responsibility. Everything has the potential to be a blessing or a curse. God gives us free moral agency to determine what we will for ourselves, what we will do with what we've been given: whether we'll squander our inheritance or use it wisely, with an attitude of gratitude and loving obedience.
I see you conveniently did not address Isaiah 24 I quoted, which says:
1. Behold, the LORD makes the earth empty, He makes it waste, and turns it upside down, and scatters abroad its inhabitants.
2. And it shall be, that as it is with the people, so with the priest; as it is with the servant, so with his master; as it is with the maid, so with her mistress; as it is with the buyer, so with the seller; as it is with the lender, so with the borrower; as it is with the taker of usury, so with the payer of usury to him.
3. The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD has spoken this word. 4 The earth mourns and fades away, the world languishes and fades away, the haughty people of the earth languish.
13. When this happens: in the midst of the land among the people, it shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and like the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done. 14 They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea. 15 Wherefore glorify you the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea. 16. From the furthermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe to me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yes, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously. 17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth. 18 And it shall be, that he who flees from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he who comes up out of the midst of the pit shall be caught in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth shake. 19 The earth is completely broken down, the earth is fully dissolved, the earth is exceedingly moved. 20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and its transgression shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
These verses prophesy destruction of everything and everybody which does not jibe with what you're telling me.
I did not ignore it and I did address it. Mankind will get to the point of no return: except for divine intervention no flesh would be saved alive, no human being would remain, just as Yahshua and the Prophets foretold. Within that Scripture it reveals survivors who are praising God, which I have highlighted.
Matthew 24:21-22
21 For then there will be great tribulation [Time of Jacob's Trouble], such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake [the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob] those days will be shortened.
Isaiah 1:9
9 Unless the LORD of hostsHad left to us a very small remnant,
We would have become like Sodom,
We would have been made like Gomorrah.
Isaiah 43:1-3
1 But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob,
And He who formed you, O Israel:
“ Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name;
You are Mine.
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.
3 For I am the LORD your God,The Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
I gave Egypt for your ransom,
Ethiopia and Seba in your place.
God always saves a remnant to keep His promise alive to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that He would be their God and the God of their descendants (which means they must always have some descendants). This GOOD NEWS is why the first chapter of Beyond Babylon: Europe's Rise and Fall is appropriately called, "Survival Guaranteed!"

Racist PC thugs target Lou Dobbs
************
Dobbs’ wife, Debi Lee Segura, told Foxnews.com today she was outside the house when the shot was fired in her direction.************
New Jersey State Police Sgt. Steve Jones confirmed troopers were called to Dobbs’ home in rural Wantage, N.J., at about 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 5.
Investigators were told Dobbs and his wife were outside their home when they heard a gunshot, and a bullet struck their attic, Foxnews.com reported.
“It struck the siding and then fell to the ground,” Jones said.
Jones said the bullet was taken for analysis, and the incident is still under investigation.
More from Dobbs’ Monday broadcast:
•“If anybody thinks that we’re not engaged in a battle for the soul of this country right now, you’re sorely mistaken. And the more you stay on the sidelines and the more you don’t make your voice heard, the more likely it is that we’re going to lose this battle for the soul of the nation.”
•“My wife and I have been shot at, our driver, my house has been shot and hit. The investigation continues. I’ve had bodyguards now, you know, I’m not in the mood to put up with little fools like Geraldo Rivera.”
•“It’s time we really awaken to what is happening in this country, it is ugly, it has to stop, and we have to find the courage to elect congressmen and senators, and yes, presidents who will speak truth. Not pander and not play politically correct games.”
•“We need to get real about what is happening in this country, and understand that if this battle for the soul of the country is lost, so much is lost that follows. Respect for our laws, respect for our borders, our ports, our national sovereignty.”
•“That respect demands, demands at least an honest debate on Capitol Hill about illegal immigration, it demands at least an honest debate on the airwaves.”
•“Why are we not enforcing laws, why do we not demand respect for our sovereignty, why do we not demand honest, open, straightforward debate.”
•“Why do we not acknowledge who were are, the most most racially, ethnically diverse society on the face of the earth?”
•“Why don’t we talk about how great this nation is, about the great things we accomplished, the great way in which we live, you know, the American way?” Source
May 1: Illegal Immigration Day Defused!
May we turn from our NATIONAL SINS of idolatry and immorality that the CURSE OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION comes to its swift end (Daniel 9:11).
Death to America: Major American Cities Targeted by Terrorists?
Will Providence permit foreign murderers in our midst (in attitude, if not yet in action) to unleash nuclear fires within our major cities? Will militant minorities work with them against us? Won't our British-Israelite brethren suffer the same within their respective biblical inheritances?

An Alternative to the UN
The hypocritical UN, that diseased body of the dysfunctional family of nations, is worthless except as a polluted podium for the sworn enemies of freedom, righteousness and democracy.

Hate crimes
Henri LeRiche
At night we can only pray that we would not be murdered by somebody with a vindictive racial attitude. We do not get to vote on the attitude towards crime, yet we are told that it is not geared towards us. We have to take the word of the majority, that criminals do not use racial bias. In South Africa, racists are not criminals, this is what the statics will make us believe.

Black racists Obama and Gates owe America an apology
As a presidential candidate, Barack Obama sold himself as the antidote to America’s enduring racial infirmities.
Remember his major speech on race in March 2008? It was more impressive than Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream,” swooned MSNBC’s Chris Matthews—the “best speech ever given on race in this country.” CBS co-host Maggie Rodriguez hailed it as a “defining cultural moment in America.” Good Morning America host Robin Roberts praised it as not just good for Obama’s campaign, but also for the “future of the country.”
Many believed Mr. Obama’s election heralded a new era of post-racial political and societal progress. Identity politics would begin to fade into irrelevance, America’s festering race wounds would start to heal. America, united under its first black president, would now explore new and better frontiers in race relations.
They were wrong.
Rather than soothe old wounds and diffuse racial tensions by avoiding race-based politics, Barack Obama has knowingly, perhaps intentionally, inflamed existing race wounds by “consistently emphasiz[ing] racial identity to further his own advantage,” noted Victor Davis Hanson this week. Instead of leading America out of its “racial morass,” the president so far has “only pushed us far deeper into it” (emphasis mine throughout).
By now you’re probably familiar with the president’s provocative remarks during his nationally televised address last week. Mr. Obama is an intelligent man, and is familiar with how combustible the race issue is, particularly when oxidized by the mainstream media. Mr. Obama knew he was handed a loaded gun when he was asked to comment on the July 16 arrest of Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr., who is black, by James Crowley, a white sergeant in the Cambridge Police Department. (See here and here for the details of this story.)
The president was given a choice: Disarm the loaded question (a simple statement saying he couldn’t comment because he did not know the details would have sufficed)—or pull the trigger and incite what he knew would become a national debate on race.
Mr. Obama chose the latter.
After admitting that he was not there and did not know all the facts, the president confidently stated on live television that the Cambridge Police Department had “acted stupidly” in arresting his friend, Professor Gates. The president then segued into a short sermon on the problem of racial profiling that still exists in America: “[W]hat I think we know separate and apart from this incident is that there is a long history in this country of African Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately. And that’s just a fact.”
For a man so educated in and sensitive to the race issue in America—not to mention a post-racial president saddled with the unenviable responsibility of solving racial tension—Mr. Obama showed a remarkable absence of wisdom by weighing in on this issue in this manner. This was a racially charged situation from its inception on the doorsteps of Mr. Gates’s home, and the president premeditatedly transformed it into a national debate on race.
Why?
With the Gates story still front-page news, Americans got another glimpse at Mr. Obama’s tendency for race-based politics Tuesday, when the Senate Judiciary Committee approved the president’s nomination of Judge Sonia Sotomayor to the U.S. Supreme Court. Handpicked by Mr. Obama, Ms. Sotomayor is renowned for the race-based underpinnings of her moral and judicial thinking, particularly her infamous racially charged remark: “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”
Mr. Obama did not merely select a judge with an undeniable tendency for making decisions based on racial identity (as witnessed by her ruling in the Ricci v. DeStefano case, which was overturned last month by the U.S. Supreme Court). His relative silence on the issue and unwillingness to condemn Ms. Sotomayor’s racially inflammatory remarks indicates that the president more than likely agrees with the judge.
Then there’s Eric Holder, President Obama’s feisty attorney general. In a speech in February commemorating Black History Month, Mr. Holder roasted the American people as a “nation of cowards” for not regularly discussing and confronting America’s racial problems. As the controversy flared, conservatives criticized Mr. Holder’s address to Justice Department employees for being abrasive and provocative, actually representing a partial explanation for an unwillingness to discuss race.
In an effort to soothe the controversy caused by the man he appointed, Mr. Obama told the New York Times that had he been advising the attorney general, “we would have used different language.” During the interview, the Times reported, “the president said that despite Mr. Holder’s choice of words, he had a point.”
Many elected Barack Obama to be a racial healer. But in the past six months alone, at least three major instances have arisen where Mr. Obama had the choice to either stoke or douse what were racially charged issues. In each instance, the president chose to allow the issue to flare into a racial firestorm.
The case is strong that Barack Obama is making America’s racial infirmities worse.
The Trumpet has long been skeptical of Mr. Obama’s ability to solve, or even soothe, America’s race issues. In July last year, as the controversy over Mr. Obama’s twenty-year relationship with the rabidly racist preacher Jeremiah Wright billowed, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry wrote: “The race card is going to be played often for political gain! And it is going to cost America dearly. This is not a small problem. We must understand where the race issue is leading us. The end result is going to be worse than anything you imagine.”
Elsewhere, Mr. Flurry wrote that America’s racial tension is a ticking time bomb.
Some of our skepticism about President Obama as a racial healer comes from his personal position and motivation. But most of it stems from an understanding of human nature. Racial strife is endemic to history, long before the Obama presidency—or America—existed. This deadly infirmity has plagued the human race since before the days of Noah. In fact, as Herbert Armstrong explained in Mystery of the Ages, “the chief cause of the violence and chaos of world conditions [prior to the Flood], was racial hatreds, interracial marriages, and racial violence caused by man’s efforts toward integration and amalgamation of races, contrary to God’s laws.”
We need to consider this history. It informs us where racial tension ends!
No human has, nor ever will, solve the enduring problem of racial tension and hatred. Like many of man’s solutions to his problems, Mr. Obama’s antidotes will only exacerbate the problems. God alone can heal America’s deep racial wounds. How will He do this? By removing human nature and replacing it with the loving nature of God, imparted by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thankfully, this time is bearing down upon us rapidly.
Until then, America’s racial time bomb will continue to tick toward explosion! •
